Personal Data

Comments

Our visitors are currently not allowed to leave comments; however, if visitors are allowed to leave comments on our site in the future, we may collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Media

Our organization does not allow uses to upload images or video to our website; however, if visitors are allowed to upload images or video in the future, you are advised to avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included in the file. Visitors to the website can download and extract location data from any images on the website.

Contact Forms

Our organization does not store messages sent through the contact forms on our website. However, please be advised that the message may contain your name, email address, message, IP address, and other details submitted through our contact form.

Subsciptions

Our organization uses MailChimp to manage all newsletter and email subscription services. By signing up to receive newsletters and/or email messages, your name and email address will be transferred to our MailChimp account. The information may be shared with MailChimp during that transfer.

Cookies

We currently do not allow users to leave comments on our website; however, if in the future you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

We do not allow users to access our website through the login page; however, if you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

If you do have access and you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded Content From Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

eCommerce Purchases

Overview

The Twelve Points Revitalization Initiative currently only has donations and event registrations in our online eCommerce store. We do not offer refunds on any of these items.

Who We Share Your Data With

We use SureCart for our eCommerce store. Credit card information used for any donation or purchase made through our eCommerce store is transferred to our payment gateway processor (Stripe) to process the financial transaction. We retain order information (i.e. donation/item purchased, billing contact information, and email). Any account number or related credit card information is not stored on our website. We only retain order information but not financial information.

Analytics

Who We Share Your Data With

We will not share your data with any outside organization unless required by law. Any request for a password reset may include your IP address in the reset email.

How Long We Retain Your Data

While we currently do not allow comments on our website; however, if you leave a comment in the future, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that are able to register on our website, we store the personal information that is provided in the user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where We Send Your Data

Visitor email may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Your Contact Information

If you are registered as a user, your contact information will be retained so long as you have access to the website. If you are a customer, i.e. you purchase products through our SUPPORT US page, your contact information may be retained on our secure website and/or by the Stripe payment gateway indefinitely.

We will not share your data unless required by law. All other requests will be denied.

What Data Breach Procedures We Have In Place

While very few users have access to our website, we will contact you if our website experiences any data breaches. We will alert you to the breach and recommend that you monitor any financial transactions that you may have used with your credit card prior to the breach.

We currently do not receive data from third parties.

We do not have any automated decision making and/or profiling occurring with any data that we collect.

The Twelve Points Revitalization organization does not participate in any industry group and has no industry regulatory disclosures.
